Terrible! He didn't read the midterm papers, just assigned seemingly random grades. 322 was the most work I've ever put into the class to create a paper no one (including Moon) will ever read. I learned next to nothing in the biased class.

By far the most frusterating class I've taken. I love IR, but Moon is impossible. Picks tiny details from readings for tests which don't actually relate to major themes. ALL of test questions are the same as previous years, so if you can get old tests from some one you can ace his tests.if not, you're screwed. He knows about this and doesn't care.

I like the guy, and I like the class, but even as a moderate-liberal I see a bias in things he says which kind of turn me off from time to time. He keeps things fun and would be a great guy to hang out with, but sometimes his bias does get in the way.

Moon is a great guy. Conservatives might get frustrated with him. Hates Bush. And Republicans. Should make new tests. Heavily unfair advantage to those who can obtain old tests. I got a B- on the first test with no old exams. I got A's on everything else when I learned about his reused tests. Good teacher- learned a lot from class.

I never want to take a class with him again. Example: We spent 2 days of class talking about Japan, plus read 2 textbk chapters on it. He hardly mentioned Japan on the 12page long test. The tests were hard, the lectures were bland, he forces his political beliefs on the class too much. Not a fan!

Very interesting class but the final was ridiculous. Professor Moon is entertaining but he does tend to go on tangents. The books for the class are not too bad but he expects you to memorize them and regurgitate random facts for the tests. Get and old copy of the exam and you will be fine.

stay away from this class!!! im a ir senior and im barely passing this class. Moon is a cool guy and looks like Kenny Rogers but the tests are really hard, no on got an A on the second one, so take my advice and stay away.

good lecturer, despite horrible jokes (which i grew to like) although some people find him disorganized, i loved the way he organized readings and lectures-- it made his exams very easy to study for.
