Cool guy. Pretty chill. Hard to get ahold of if you need it. Contact Kate instead. Really nice person-- a little unorganized, but genuinely cares. Big teddy bear at heart. Kate will kick your butt though, so they even each other out.

He and Kate work together but are not in class at the same time expect for exams. Attendance is taken randomly. Everyone in class agreed that they learned a good amount of techniques. Exams are extremely easy to pass if you attend. Morningstar is a cop but very chill. However, he isn't good about responding back to emails so show up w q's instead.

I personally didn't like this class, mainly because it was an 8 am. But overall it is fun I guess, if you're into self defense it can be fun, but if you're just taking it to fulfill credits and you don't really have interest in it you might want to reconsider.

Bruce from day one tells you exactly what he wants from you and knows just what he's doing. He's excellent at teaching and really cares about his students. He expects the best out of you, and lets you beat him up twice in the semester! DEFINITELY take Morningstar if you can.

Women's Self Defense is one of the best classes I've ever taken at GV. If you are considering taking it, definately do. You learn so much and the professors couldn't be more helpful. Morningstar and his wife are amazing profs!
