Absolutely horrendous teacher, took elementary Italian with him and was completely lost. I am a honor student who took the class for credit and was completely lost and frustrated and dreaded coming weekly. Will not answer in English. Extremely unconventional style of teaching.

Awesome class! Just study your notes and practice the vocab/verb structures! You do have to make sure you study but not overwhelming. :)

Bruno is the man! The class itself is pretty easy as long as you study for the quizzes. If you review the vocabulary a little bit on your own it will help you out a lot. Bruno definitely struggles with some English things but is really nice and helpful! He is a genuinely good guy!

Bruno is awesome! I had him for 101, 102, and 203. He's really passionate about Italian and likes you to do stuff outside of class- "cultural activities" like seeing Italian films or going to Italian restaurants. I miss his classes and I really learned a lot! Tests, quizzes, and hw are easy. Just study the book and take good notes in class.

He's really passionate about teaching the language and culture of italy. As long as you have even the remotest interest in the subject, you'll do fine. He gives you all test the week before. I can count about half a dozen times where we would say something was too hard, it would simply remove it without question. Super Easy.

Bruno!!!! I love this man. He is always available to answer your questions and is so much fun to have as a teacher. He teaches in an unconventional style which forces you to actually DO the work if you want to learn the language. He is very understanding about absences. Highly recommend him.

He really cares about the students, but he's hard to appreciate at first. If you ask for help he will really help you.

Great guy... always very helpful if you ask him questions outside of class and especially in office hours. The class is a struggle for any teacher and student because it is almost all in italian... and he is not the best at making it seem easy. but either way he is a good and caring teacher. you will learn and get the grade if you put time in.

I am honestly terrified of him. Very easy class, but horribly unstructured. He speaks only Italian in class, he's very overpowering and easily angered. He forgot to teach key verbs but holds you accountable. I think LMU just grabbed any Italian dude they could.

Bruno is one crazy guy, but the class is not too bad, just a ton of busy work. If you're a junior or senior, I recommend taking it pass/fail so you don't have to worry about doing all the stupid assignments.
