I just got done with her class, and i really liked her as a professor. However, her test are killer, but I am not a good test taker. I passed, but barely. I would not recommend her to anyone that is not willing to study all the time.

Comment:

Mrs. Nancy Candella is the BEST teacher I've ever had. She makes Anatomy fun. If you can, please take her! You won't regret it. She expects you to learn on your own too. She types up outlines and notes. Great teacher and great class! I enjoy getting up early for this class.

She could not have taught this class any better! She demanded attendence, only b/c her lecture were absolutely necessary to learn the material. It was presented interestingly and timely. I'm so glad I had her!

Do not buy the book! She is a great teacher with great notes. Her tests are not surprising, and she drops one. I would plan to drop her cellular respiration test in A&P I . As for people dropping the class, yes, they will. But keep in mind this is A&P, same thing happens in Gen. Chem! I hear Man is good as well, if you are going to med school

She is very detailed when teaching. She will only teach you what you need to know for the test. I only read 1st two chapters of $181. book. I did reference it throughout the year. Overall she did her job and taught me Anatomy & Physiology.

I thought she was terribly hard to follow.(I'm a serious studier too)Her class is a real gluteous mximus kicker! She gloats on running students off. My class started off with 34 students- when the class was over, there were only 7!(I was one of them) I do give her credit for the hardness-- I think that will come in handy for me later.

Understandable; however, I do not like the attendance policy which may not be suitable for adults who are busy full time just trying to make ends meet. Very strict attendance policy. I thought her tests were average in difficulty compared to other professor' tests.

She is a great teacher, she is very clear in her expectations. If she says it in class its fair game. Her tests are hard, but if you write down everything that she says in class and study hard before a test, you'll do fine. Get a tape recorder!!
