Dr. F is the BOMB! He is the best Prof. I had in Hazy, and I wish I can take his class again. Unlike Profs at UP, he really cares about his students. He is very approachable, and I will recommend him to anyone who needs to take a Science elective. If you are struggling in class, do not hesitate to see him, he will help you when his office is open!

To all students taking his courses now, I took classes with him in the late 1980s. He is one of the best damn professors you will ever have. You read and study and ask questions; he will be helpful. He is kind and knowledgeable. He is understanding and caring. Learn from him.

Dr. F is a gem. He is so smart and a very good lecturer and a great professor overall. I learned a lot from his classes. They are what you put in to them. He is very approachable and if you need anything his door is usually always open.

Dr. Frankel was great. I took him for Bio 110, 220, and 230. you must attend class in bio 230 or you'll be lost in the material. He really cares about his students understanding the material and is willing to help if you are struggling. Fair grader and gives great feedback on improving. He's a great guy and really enthusiastic about his lectures

He was a great professor. As a general bio major I had him for my first 4 semesters straight through. He lectures more than notes as it advances, so bring a recorder. His tests are hard and you have to study but he really knows his stuff. He is understanding, but missing class affects you and your grade, not him.

Very nice guy, & really loves what he teaches. The class isn't a piece of cake, but it's definitely not hard to get an A if you put forth effort. About 5 homework assignments, but doesn't grade them, only gives bonus. Tests are average, mainly multiple choice with some fill-in-the-blank. Lets you argue a question marked wrong, if you disagree.

Great professor, there to help you. Attend all the classes, never show up late, do all the homework, and participate. You'll earn bonus points. Tests are somewhat difficult, mainly fill in the blanks. Notes are very clear.

Top notch in every category. Easy to pass, but hard to get an "A" in his class. His ability to generate interest in the subject matter was world class, and I was not a science major. I have had over 50 professors in college and grad school, and I would have to rate him the overall #1-the best.

Dr. Frankel is a really good professor. His lectures are so interesting. You will get a good grade AS LONG AS you attend every classes. No big assignment. If you can get you note clearly enough, you don't need a textbook.

He taught me for four semesters. He is extremely easy to understand and his exams are fair. He enjoys what he is teaching and that makes it a great deal easier to learn and understand the material.
