He is exactly what you would think of as a philosophy professor. He is an old, humorous, energetic guy with an adorable accent. He really knows what he's talking about, but if you are not a big Plato fan, you better have some good arguments to back it up. Loved his lectures. Makes philosophy, even if it's not your major, really easy to understand

He's a really fun lecturer. He really makes philosophy interesting. His tests are well written to ensure that you did the reading out of class, so DO IT! If you do all the assigned reading, and just show up to class, you'll do very well.

Horrible. always late, and would try to hold class over. great for those who like to learn religion in the classroom. one sided on his opinions. if you do not agree with him, you don't understand the material.

Did not give us a syllabus so I had no idea where I was in the class or what weight the assignments had. He gave little for assignments. If you take notes you will do well though. His lectures are very interesting and he makes the subject actually seem important. It was fun to think about nonetheless. Would recommend to anyone.

Levenson is great! He is the only teacher to take Philosophy from at ISU. He actually made me interested in Socrates, and Plato, and St. Augustine. He is the bomb! He does seem a little quirky....kind of not with the program, but he is a gentle soul and absolutely brilliant!
