I did not like Dr. Owens at all. He is very rude and puts his students down in the middle of class. He people skills are poor at best. If you can take Wendt or the new guy instead. I would strongly suggest it. on a scale of 5 stars I would give him a 2.

Very easy class! You make a few presentations throughout the semesters, but no tests. Sometimes it was hard to comprehend what was required to turn in. Owens was a little scattered at times, but overall he displayed the material in an interesting way. It was very informative class!

Knows what he is talking about, relates the information to what we will use in the classroom, and uses a large variety of technology. He has a great personality, but is short on feedback. If you have concerns, go to him outside of class and he will be very helpful. I would suggest taking any class he teaches.

Dr. Owens is a tremendous asset to TTU. He goes out of his way to help students. He is fun to hang out with, and knows more about music than anyone I know. Carl is a great teacher! Wants to help you use technology in your classroom! AWESOME teacher!! Take him if you can! very unorthodox, but so much fun, not just taking notes and reading them back! HANDS ON, you will learn how to use the technology presented in this class.

It is very interesting to learn new technology. But Dr. Owens is very obnoxious and not realistic when it comes to teachers being able to afford and use technology in their class. Every class was a way for him to show off.
