Her online class is an easy A. Her ability to teach is English is horrendous. In almost all of her examples she cites things incorrectly. She forces you to write about her absurd interpretations of the short stories. The class as an easy A, but sucks for learning English.

good professor. at times doesn't give clear instructions. never replies to emails. easy for the most part, but like i said, at times i was left wondering how to do assignments bc of her instructions; shes not specific. shell say "use template in course lesson" which template, which lesson? lol. easy grader, which makes up for confusion. effortA

Consisted of 3 Essays (50%), Quizzes&Weekly Discussions (25%), & Final Exam (25%).Quizzes&Discussions are easy & Final is all discussions avg together. Tough on essays & feedback wasn't helpful on improving my following essays! Offers Extra Credit but only for students that don't have ANY zeros and you have to ask for it. Can be a little rude.

This professor is never clear on what one is supposed to do when writing papers. Writing papers is very difficult. She does not respond well to questions. She is extremely rude and sarcastic. I definitely do not recommend this class.

This class was very frustrated. Her work wasn't too hard. However she was extremely rude about asking questions if you did not understand. Her criteria was not explained clearly. She did not explain her grading clearly either. Would not recommend at all.

I personally did not enjoy taking this class. She was not clear with her criteria or what she would be grading on with assignments and would act condescending towards students who might be confused or not know an answer. Feel free to take her class if you want to feel like you're back in high school

Took online course. The discussions are a must as the average is used for the final exam. Not really helpful. Just refers you to the book. Essay requirement is tough as not much direction is given. If you do the reading the discussions and quizzes are easy.

Easy quizzes as long you read the book. Make 100's on all of those just in case you mess on the 4 essay assignments at the end. Final exam is all of your discussions averaged together. Cite everything!

I took her Comp 1 Class. She lets class out early every day. She does expect alot out of the 4 essays you will have to write, however she is very available for any questions you have. She gives plenty of time to write them and a good folder is 50% of essay grade. There's only 1 test, the final. Sweet lady good teacher, I'm taking her Comp 2

This class was relatively easy. But, don't expect clear help. You are kind of on your own in this class. Work is pretty simple, follow directions and you'll be ok. I took this as an online class... Don't expect a lot of encouragement...

Took this class online. Quizzes and discussions are EASY but her three part essay assignment hurt my grade. She is not clear on what she wants out of the essay but I still ended with an A overall so I would recommend her. Her class is definitely very easy, other than her clarity on her essay this was a piece of cake.

Prof is ready to retire. Although 90% of the class is EASY (quizzes and discussions- thought discussion can take time), the 4part essay assignment is almost impossible to get a good grade on! I had a 99.6% going into it, came out with a 79 after the essay part 1&2. Her essay directions are horrible and does not answer questions when asked. Avoid!!

I took this class because every review I read on her said she was a great teacher. However, that class was not fun at all. She was all over the place and I never understood what exactly it was that she wanted. I believe she is ready to retire, she did mention it a couple of times during the semester. She said she felt tired and ready to retire.

4 week long summer course. Made an A. The work isn't hard at all, it's just time consuming. Follow directions. Don't procrastinate. Those people who say she wasn't helpful is because they waited till the last minute before it was due to send her an email asking for help and she didn't have time to reply before the deadline. I enjoyed her class.

LLOOVVEEDD this teacher! She takes a great interest in you and will help you in anyway she can. I recommend this teacher for your composition classes. The tests were sooo easy and the writing is broken up in sections.

This 'teacher' is awful. Absolutely does not help at all and directions are extremely confusing. All she says is to 'revise' everything but does nothing to actually TEACH so her students can learn. I received several messages from others in the class asking what she was asking for, so I know I was not the only one confused!

I absolutely LOVED Ms. Thiel's online course for Comp II. She is extremely organized & gives all directions clearly. The online course consists of short discussions, easy quizzes, and only 1 essay! She responds to emails promptly and wants to help her students succeed! As long as you keep up with due dates you will easily finish with an A!
