Comment:
Avoid taking Economics 101 with Clark. She is a tough/picky grader. If you forget minor details, a lot of points are docked off. She teaches the class as if the students are experts and it's a 101 course. Readings plus worksheets due every class. She does not welcome questions. It is hard to even ask a question without being assertive. Good luck!

I had to leave 2 classes early for a sports commitment(that I told her about earlier before the term started)When I left for the first one she immediately got annoyed and when I had to leave a second time there was a quiz that we had to take. I asked to take it early and she said no, so I had to take the quiz in half to time she gave for everyone

Challenged us and prepared us for upper level econ classes. Serious students who are ready to learn and be challenged will appreciate her, slackers won't. Always made herself available out of class for further explanations. Don't miss class unless you plan on going to visit her during office hours. I learned a ton and appreciated her immensely!

She's a very reasonable person and a fair grader. The work may not be clear at first, but she curves up usually. The class requires full attention and some participation. There are only a few problem sets and very short essays. Working with other students in the class is highly recommended.

Good teacher and willing to help. But honestly she expects way too much for a 101 class. She doesn't realize that students are taking other classes. There are days where you have a chapter reading, an online quiz and an in class quiz all in the same day. Also she speaks very fast in class. Hard to keep up.

I took Comparative Economic Systems with her when she first was hired. She gave us a pile of books on the different economic systems. Nice person, good class in the last days of Communism.

she is pretty hard, but if you attend class and work on the problem sets/study for tests with others it's fine. her lectures are very organized and are exactly copied to the tests. also, participating once per class will ensure you at least a B+/A- in participation, which can only help.

She's a very nice woman, and very caring too. She's a smart woman, that's why she expects quite a lot from students. At first quizzes and exam seem to be quite difficult. But if you do the reading and home assignment, you'll be fine. And go to TA sessions if you want to better your grades.

Very low quality. Believe me! This is not how a college professor is supposed to be! She is not a researcher, nor a good teacher and hard to understand why she is here for so long. Just look at the other ratings. Don't take her courses, she is a self absorbed person.

avoid taking classes with her. she comes off as a very caring and understanding professor but it's all fake if you're not one of the best students in the class. she didn't respond to a number of my emails that were about pretty serious stuff. the bottom line is don't take her classes.

She's a pretty good lecturer but does not grade fairly on her day to day assignments, which there are a lot of. She's passive aggressive and picks favorites very quickly. Offers no help outside of class. Great body, however.
