You can ask her word for word what she wants in a paper, and when you turn it in she "won't like the way it sounds." She isn't clear on anything. Very opinionated and if your papers don't reflect her opinion, they will be graded poorly, and told to redo them. Over and over. Writes on your papers on how she disagrees with FACTS.

She is a nice lady and will help you with anything, but she is unclear about her assignments and when they are due. Her grading is very strict and if it isn't to her liking she marks you down. Wrote alot of essays and did pointless workshts. Had to take like 1 or 2 quizzes online about syllabus, but no final exam.

She is an extremely easy teacher. She really cares about her students and we only wrote one paper the entire semester. Final exam was not even graded and was just a "self-examination" type deal. I recommend her to anyone that needs to take a 150 class

This is not a bad class to take. She thinks she is right about EVERYTHING and it makes it really hard to hard to her but still not a bad class. The work is REALLY easy and not too many papers. NO TESTS.

Mrs. Corbett's English 150 class is very easy. You have to write I believe two to three essays at most, and spend more time just on taking notes that don't even matter in the class. I reccomend the class she is not hard at all and offered a extra credit cross word puzzle at the end of the course final exam was a a personal review on what you learne

Whole premise for entire class was to develop a research paper. Very time consuming, but the end product made you feel like the class was worth it. She may come across as fowl and sarcastic at times, but she really is a nice lady.

I really enjoyed having her as a teacher. She sometimes was not always clear as to when little assignments were due, but just ask and she will tell you. If you got a grade you did not like on a paper, she gave you the option to fix it for a better grade. I only had on huge research paper due at the end of the semester. Very easy!

Really easy to pass, I barley ever went or turned things in on time and I still passed. Shes very unclear on her directions and changes them all the time. She talks about being a nurse A LOT. Kind of annoying and you will know if she doesnt like you.

Her class focused on one large research paper which we worked on for the entire semester. She is very thorough, and has decent expectations of her students. There were frequent assignments, though they were not that hard. All papers we went through 2-3 revisions or rough drafts in class which helped, but she was very thorough in grading

I already didnt like english, so i looked her up on here and saw some good comments so i took the class...she changes her mind all the time on what she wants in the papers. eeh, I wouldn't really recommend her. we spent most of our time researching the 08 candidates for projects [she didn't know who to vote for.] All other time was spent on her comma lust. Soo many worksheets on commas... She thinks very highly of herself and being a registered nurse. Not too hard, but I had no interest. Way too much group work.

If you didnt take 150 because you passed out of it, she takes things for granted and talks about stuff you did in that class. She is very touchy- feely so if you like your personal bubble, i would reconsider!
