Online course. Very accessible, great comments and feedback throughout the course. I would reccomend the online course, but as that was the only experience I had I can't say much else.

Although I would agree that Franks is very easy. I can't help but feel that her class isn't half as fun, unless you are one of her favorites. I think she could be one of the best, if she learned to like everyone, and not specifc students. Watch out, she stays in class while students do evaluations.

I agree with the above comments. Carol is incredibly witty, sharp, and caring. Who knew you could have great dicussions in grammar? And that you would be rolling with laughter? She can recite passages of literature from memory & parse them grammatically. She simply rocks. Take her classes!

I learned a lot about composition from Carol Franks. She is a really sweet woman--the kind you wish was your mother or grandmother, and hilarious. I wish I could take more classes from her.
