Carol is a very warm and charismatic professor; and she is strict about attendance. If you do not attend class, it will affect your grade. Also, she assigns us a paper critiquing a professional dance performance, a self-assessment paper, and a short paper on one of three historic figures in modern dance. It's hard work, but you truly learn a lot

She is very nice, but she takes attendance every day which was a problem for me. Also, her tests are very hard, she focuses on the small details of very broad notes. But, she does help you out if you have some questions and the mandatory studio sessions are fun if you like to dance.
