Carol is a great lecturer and made this class super interesting. The subject was super cool and she made it personal. There is a good amount of online homework, but it's not too bad. Tests are pretty straight forward and mainly off the study guide. Carol hates phones so do not be on yours.

Love Carol Ann! One of my favorite professors and I am taking another one of her classes this semester. The few professors where I feel happy to go to their office hours, which is extremely rare for me. She does take being on your phone very seriously but she is overall a sweet, caring professor. She does well at her job and it shows.

Marshall is extremely clear as to how she grades and what she expects from students. She is almost too clear, if you get below an A in this class, then you are physically trying to fail. Marshall is great, super funny and always in a great mood. This class is super easy and interesting, definitely an easy A.

Carol is one of the best teachers I have had at Chico. She has clear grading instructions. If you follow directions you'll pass this class no problem. Getting the opportunity to observe the children is awesome!

She's an awesome prof! She makes lots of jokes and relates material to her life so it's easier to remember and it's also a plus to get to know her. She is clear when tests are, doesn't surprise you with any quizzes or tests. Very clear on grading, I always know what my grade is. She's my favorite teacher in college so far!

This is the second semester I've had her and I think she's one of the best. Very funny and great at teaching. She is SUPER picky about assignments though. Grammar and formatting can ruin you so it's best to double check anything you submit for errors. Seriously. I got marked down for not numbering questions once. Besides that, she's amazing.

Great prof. Good at teaching and keeping the class interesting. Be ready to work. She is very specific about what she does and doesn't want in papers, which can be helpful and agonizing. Best if you attend class since she tends to include some important things only in class and there's like 10 in-class assignments.

This class is very clear and lectures are interesting however Carol is very picky. I scored well on tests but was confronted and marked down for using the "wrong" shape on a graph even though I had a legend. Some test questions are not from the book or class. Overall nice woman but she treats you like you're in high school which I found annoying.

I loved this class. She is the sweetest lady and really knows what she's talking about. The classes are entertaining because the subject is so relevant and she makes it fun. Just make sure you come to class.

She is an awesome professor! Loves to bring her own stories of her family into her class lectures, which makes class fun. The work is pretty easy, tests are pretty much straight out of notes and readings, I barely used my book though. She takes attendance every day. There are 2 very easy observation assignments. Would definitely recommend her!

Honestly the worst class I've ever taken. All instructions are so unclear and of course there's no assignment directions or examples ever posted on Blackboard. Half the class is spent passing back papers and half is spent answering people's personal questions. The assignments that are explained so unclearly are graded so critically.
