It was a great semester. Learned lots of things you would never imagine. She is funny. Good sense of humor. Does not like when people walk in late to her class. Lots of reading. Tests are fair and her grading is fair.

Appallingly dull. Brings nothing to the table but long, drawn out discussions that lead no where. The subject material is sterile and boring. Avoid this class at all costs.

I'm a little miffed at the previous comments. I found her class to be enjoyable. She teaches you information that makes you think and consider human sexuality from a different angle, even if you don't agree. Her tests are not that difficult if you study, and even then she offers extra credit. A worthwhile class.

she's gotta stop with the dirty stares whenever people come in late. I mean, what if ppl have legit excuses for being late? her exams aren't easy, and the study guides she gives us aren't very well organized and it's confusing to know what to focus on. she brushes off student's comments and she seems to get flustered easily

I took her for a MUSE class which are supposed to be extrememly easy, turned out to be the hardest class i had so i dropped it. She gets way to intense about everything and her beliefs. The only thing i remember from her is that she specifically stated that she would "rather eat a rat than a hamburger"!!!!!!!

This teacher is pretty boring and hardly talks about sexuality. The class is mostly about culture, and granted that has a lot to do with sexuality, but it is mostly biology (which is hardly mentioned!). Show up to class and you will pass this one.

Expect this course to be about culture and not human sexuality. If you paid attention in class and showed up, you will get a good grade. She is boring and her views are VERY skewed in my opinion, so much so that it is almost aggravating. And she puts you down for asking the "wrong" question. In the end, her class is easy, just boring.

I enjoyed this class a lot. It takes a lot of guts to get up in front of a college class and teach about human sexuality, especially in the way that she did. She definitely helped me open my eyes to a lot of things. I actually feel like a better person after taking her class!

the worse prof. ever! none of her lecture topic relates to sex ed. she's more of an anthro prof. her lectures are booooring and her tests has ridiculous questions so it's hard to know what exactly it is that she expects you to study i.e. one of her question on her midterm was "how many slides did i show about different monkeys?" wtf?! Very nice during office hours. If you take her class and u don't do well on her tests make SURE you do the extra credit she gives you, LOTS of points. Her lectures are ummmm *yawn*. She talks more about culture rather than sex itself. However, NEVER be late to her class 'cause she will give you the stare of DEATH! Overall, nice teacher though!

She's boring & rude. If you ask her a question about anything -- she snaps & gets all flustered. She talks about politics & random crap that has nothing to do w/ sex. She is very dull, and I haven't learned anything. Exams are unclear & her lectures are random. Skip this professor. She's old & you'd be wasting your time. She's a dummy.

this class is mediocre. Sure she is a little out there but I think it is because she has a very open mind and lectures about many different cultures. Her tests aren't easy A's but if you go to all the lectures you will get a pretty good grade. She approaches this class from a cultural point of view, so if you are looking to learn somthing about kama sutra or tantric sex you are in the wrong place. If you want to learn about how cultures have changed our ideas about sex take this class.

Professor Mukhopadhyay is okay, but I wouldn't recommend her for this particular class. She takes a topic that could be interesting and makes it incredibly boring. In addition, she talks too much about her own sex life/sexual experiences, which students just do not need to hear about. Kind of rude and unclear at times.
