Dr. Rainey is a very nice woman. I really enjoyed the class, it was fairly easy all you really do is sit around and talk about the books you read. the book choices are fairly decent. I liked the class and would recommend.

Prof. Rainey..what can you say except horrible teacher, easy class. When writing weekly papers omit personal opinion and replace it with the one she expresses in lectures. Is a liberal feminist, guys expect bias from her unles. Crying gets you an A. Women who identify with characters are golden.

Ok, if you can bull**** your way through anything this class is definetely for you. She makes you read short stories and 6 novels, dont worry there are S. notes for almost all of them. I wrote so much BS it almost made me cry but then I realized rainey thought my BS reflections were serious.

Gives daily quizes over reading not to hard if you read (cliff notes or spark notes). You can turn in papers late and still get full credit. A reflection paper once a week that is joke. Extremely easy to get an A use sparknotes and cliffnotes when possible and skim books no need to purchase
