I'm so happy I took her class for Foundations, she managed to make a 140 person class feel very individualized. She's hilarious and inspiring. Not the easiest or the hardest class you'd ever take, but it was completely worth it for the experience of having her as a professor. COME BACK DR. WARD, WE MISS YOU.

Dr. Ward is definitely one of my favorite professors I've had. As others have said, she is absolutely hilarious. Her class probably could use a little more structure, but still a fun and interesting class.

Funny teacher. The only class Ive taken this quarter that I don't doze off in. The class is interesting and she said its almost impossible to get below a B. Lot of extra credit so attendance is not mandatory. We havent referred to the textbook once this quarter

Ward is amazing. I took her intro psych class, which was a pretty big (100+) class, so for anyone who says she is disorganized..in her defense, look at what she is dealing with, lol. I swapped out one of my classes so I can have her as my professor again. :)

Comment:

Sweet woman who has years of experience in psychology. She is a bit disorganised as other posters have said, but she reviews all the material proir to the test on the same day of the test- some of the answers are blatantly provided. Sets up student-led tutorials that were extremely helpful. Decent TA. 100% recommended. Hope she never retries!

I absolutely love Dr. Ward as a person-she is hilarious, and really seems to care about her students. However, I don't feel like I learned much in her class. Her lectures are extremely unstructured,and in order to fully learn the material you have to read the textbook and take your own notes. As a structured learner,her teaching style frustrated me

Ward is probably one of the best profs at DU!!! Her assignments are not difficult, her lectures are very enertaining as well as informative, her tests are pretty easy and she is so funny. Only only discovered her Senior year and only had one class, I only wish I had more classes with her. Take as many classes with her as possible. She is Awesome!!!!
