Comment:

No, she doesn't return your emails in a timely manner, but she will see you in her office. She offers lots of extra credit and lots of quizzes and takes off a few of the lowest. She is VERY knowledgeable and gives a great understanding of history. I found her to be very fair and I learned a lot from her classes. Duh! this is college! Get to work

no good. she is irratitional and enjoys the title "hiostorian" more than doing actual research. She is smart, but not a good teacher. you are guilty until proven innocent in her class. no stimulation to make reading interesting. i love women's history, but this class made is seem dead, and old. She showed a few good films, only german though.

Very knowledgeable, but very bad teacher. What she says & wants aren't always the same. Ex: her syllabus will say to bring a picture to class to discuss and what she *wants* is detailed paragraph of the picture, why you chose it, what it means to the time period, ect. She will not return any of your work until the last couple of classes-if at all.

I took Ren & Ref as an online class and liked the class enough to take another course with her next semester. The quizzes can be a bit tricky and the weekly discussions can be a pain - there is definitely a lot of writing and reading that has to be done! But the essays are graded very fairly and there are some good extra credit opportunities.

Her class is sooo easy; however, she takes too long to respond to emails and assign grades. Also, she isn't all that specific when it comes to giving details on grades and assignments. Yet, she does drop the 2 lowest quiz grades and the 2 lowest discussion grades. She gives too much work but it's pretty easy. Also, she gives TONS of extra credit!!

There were a lot of readings and assignments in this class, but that's to be expected for a 3000 level online history course. Adams rarely answers emails or returns grades. Her online courses are very poorly structured. She makes it hard for students who are interested in the subject matter to remain enthusiastic.

Total witch. No clarity at all. Expects the world of you without exactly telling you how to please her. I was a straight A student until I took her class! I worked extremely hard on a paper for her and she gave me a zero. Zeros should only go to people who do not turn in the paper. DO NOT TAKE ANY COURSE WITH THIS PROFESSOR! YOU WILL NOT PASS!

I took her online class for Renaissance & Reformation Europe, and she gives us too much homework and quizzes (but she does drop the 2 lowest quiz grades!). She takes too long to respond to emails and she isn't sepecific when it comes to instructions on doing assignments and online discussions. She's rude, anddoesn't seem to care about her students.

This class was horrible. I barely learned anything. She was very unclear what she expected from you. One of the readings she gave us, was a word document with pages from a book scanned onto it. I could not read it at all! She did however she did assign a very good book and movie. Besides that, it was a total waste of time and money!

Lots of work, every week online quizzes and discussions. Two papers, a midterm and final, half is in class essay, second online multiple choice. Lots of extra credit opportunities , even attendance helps. Helps to like history. She loves images, art stuff. Just keep up with the reading, write good papers and you get an easy A

Do not take her classes if you don't want to work. I took an online version of her Renaissance and Reformation class, and though it was incredibly hard, it was one of the best classes that I've taken. I have taken Adams twice online the first time was not pretty but the second time around she was great. She offers a ton on extra credit and your grade is broken up over alot of assignments and weekly quizzes but the reading is relatively easy. Just do the work and a good grade is not difficult.

Horrible teacher! I had to force myself to go to her class b/c she takes attendance. Only 2 Exams and they are complete bull! Gives you only an hour to do multiple choice 2 short essays and a long. Don't take this class if you can avoid it! I passed with an A but she's a horrible teacher!

horrible teacher. dont bother studying what she tells you at the reveiw, beacuse you still wont know a thing thats on the test. very dissorganized. she should be paying me to put up with her. cannot express my dislike for her enough. (not influenced by my grade, i passed, how i dont know)
