She begins with interesting lectures but gives quizes that are graded like essay tests that detract from your overall grade. Reading is mandatory but tests are from the lecture. The tests are fill in the blank, multiple choice and essay. Each is near impossible to answer. She makes it harder than what it has to be and doesn't care if you learn.

Took this Fall 2008. There are 3 tests and 1 option final. The tests are based on lecture notes and you really gotta study for em. Overall, I like her style better than my Govt 2302 where I had to do a lot of **** work.

classes were very boring the only time you ever smiled in there was if she pointed out people that were not in our class and ordered them out. classes were PURE LECTURE where she talked fast and rarely repeated anything. exams were rediculously hard and in order to pass you needed to memorized EVERY WORD of your millions of notes!!

The tests are based entirely on her lecture notes. Almost the entire second test was on court cases. So of the 4 exams, 1 of them is court cases, and one is a cumulative final. If you are taking govt to enjoy or learn, there isn't much she will do to help you, and if you are in it 'cause it required then there are easier teachers.

Lectures are veryy boring. But, attendence is needed; 2/3 of exam are over lectures. Must read the whole book to answer essay. Study, and you'll do great!:) No study guide given though. Rely on lecture notes.
