Professor Keating is extremely nice, but I didn't find her to be great at teaching. She is so scatter-brained to the point where she lectured more about irrelevant stories than about the intended class material. I would definitely not take another class with her, as I basically ended up having to teach myself the necessary information

Keating is so funny, and class with her was always entertaining. She is kind of scattered-brained though, so we didn't stick to the syllabus or textbook. She was a great Scientific Perspectives professor; I learned a lot about writing science papers. However, I didn't learn much about the subject of the class. She's very smart and helpful!!

Professor Keating's lectures are always very interesting, and even though I had her in a big lecture class, she always did her best to keep everyone engaged (and entertained). She is extremely nice, but people who do not like to be put on the spot in class should be cautious.

I LOVE PROF KEATING. She is so cool, intelligent, and easy to talk to. Her classes are SO interesting and I am often genuinely disappointed when my psych of leadership class ends. Best prof at Colgate.

She depends a lot on discussions which is very hard in a 175 person lecture. It also makes her tests much more difficult. She's a wonderful professor and seems very fun, but as for Psych 150 her teach style is a little more difficult.

LOVE HER. She's amusing/ interactive. She actually goes into topics in depth instead of generally covering everything. Tests are very easy if you kind of payed attention and kind of read.

Fun, approachable, intelligent-- really tries to make it interesting. I've taken two courses with her so far and both have been something I've looked forward to. She can be a bit... flighty... but she cares which is refreshing. She is a good resource on a ton of areas.

Sometimes, interesting, sometimes, not. The class often gets off topic which gets annoying really quickly. Class is paper based and she is critical with both style and content. But overall, she will help your writing. Very approachable prof though-- I deff recommend seeing her before handing in any papers.

I took her leadership class and it was very unstructured. We feel very far behind. Sometimes, we wouldn't accomplish anything in class. It was pretty interesting when we were discussing leadership. She is very approachable and nice.
