Comment:

Ms. Lynn's class is nothing specia. However, COMP120 is just a basic required class for everyone. If you're a decent writer, it isn't hard to get a good grade. I think she has a low rating on here because people get mad that she cares about the content of the writing. Easy class, little homework, easy papers. Ms. Lynn is a solid choice for COMP120.

Ms. Lynn is not too bad. Tough grader for essays, but that's the whole research and writing department. If you go to her for help during her office hours, which are only one day a week, she will help you. A negative is her classes are always 8 AM classes since she's adjunct. Overall, expect papers, might not know your name, and go to her for help.

The lectures were pointless and I definitely learned more in high school than I did in this class. She has some sort of attitude about herself that makes a lot of students not like her. Try to take Research and Writing with somebody else who will not waste your time.

I really like Ms. Lynn and think she is a very nice lady and good teacher. She expects a lot from the writing of her students, but overall she is willing to communicate about papers and an agreeable person. You just have to make sure you actually read, and not just the sparknotes.

Her class is so boring, Her lectures are stupid, she just copies them from the book. She will assign another essay before you are even done the first one. I had 3 essays at the once Her comments don't make any sense on our essays. She is not a fair grader. she does give you plenty of time to write the papers, and you usually get out of class early.

I feel that I have learned close to nothing in this class. She grades papers very hard, with vague directions and specific expectations. Her comments on papers aren't very helpful, they just inform you that she doesn't think very highly of your writing ability.

Her lectures are very boring and there is no point in taking notes because you won't be tested on it. She is a hard essay grader; she'll give a B to someone who has poor grammar and sentence structure, but a C+ to someone who follows the prompt and writes well. Sleep through class and still get a B. Don't take if you want to learn something new.
