Wonderful! I had no interest in this class when I registered for it, in fact I was dreading it. I hate public speaking but she made it a very enjoyable class. Easy A. She made it one of my favorite classes this semester and would suggest anyone to take her class.

I would recommend her. You have to study to do well, but it's a breeze if you study what she tells you to study. Go to lecture and write down what she says and you will be fine.

Dr. Atkins really enjoys teaching and makes a mass lecture fun by incorporation multimedia, organized lectures, opportuities for bonus points. She sends informative emails and reminders and really wants her students to do well. She is smart, fun, and really likes student interaction. Take her class and pay attention! You will really learn.

Boring lectures, time which I often used to finish my organic chem lab notebook. If you're an Honors person, take the Honors lab that goes with this course. She will grade your speeches and rate you personally. Tests are fairly easy. They cover a lot of material, but I was able to cram the night before each and get A's.

I did not enjoy this class very much. I have always been a fan of public speaking and giving presentations, but this class just was not fun. Dr. Atkins goes on and on during the lecture and puts you to sleep. I enjoyed the lab class, but I have a GA, not Dr. Atkins. She also has a tendency to lose papers and what not.

Such a nice, smart lady. She made class fun with her jokes and videos. She also emails study guides are reminders about speeches and exams. Her test T/F Q's are sometimes a lil tricky. For the most part people get A's and B's. Attendance counts, so GO TO CLASS you worthless SOB's!

Dr. Atkins is an awesome teacher! She is very helpful - and she knows her stuff. She works hard and cares about her students. Go to class regularly & take notes. Those people who rated her poorly must be lazy and just looking for an easy grade. This is college people, it's time to grow up!
