If you're looking for an easy A then take Prof. ward. Other than the class being easy, she is a terrible person who I have no respect for. Would never take a class of hers again because I can't stand her.

Easiest class I've ever taken. As long as you're not one of those people who are on their phone the entire class, you'll get an A. One iMovie project that teaches you how to use the software and rent tools from the library, a 5-page research essay, and a few in-class quizzes based on readings. Understands that it's a required course. Easy A.

This is the EASIEST class you will ever take. If you want an easy A, take it English with her! You have to make an iMovie; just follow directions & you'll get an A. No final, just a research essay that she walks you through step by step. Show up to class, show her you're making an effort. She's so sweet and funny and genuinely wants to help you.

While I was not crazy about her, based on what I have heard about the some of the other ENGL110 teachers, I would recommend her. The iMovie that she assigns is a bit of work, but I think that learning the program involved and how to rent out equipment for it are useful skills to learn. If you get on her good side, you will do well.

Comment:

Professor Ward makes E110 an enjoyable class. Instead of writing a ton of papers, the course includes an iMovie project, which really helps develop tech skills. Additionally, there is only 1 real term paper and Professor Ward gives solid feedback on what she expects. 10/10 would recommend Professor Ward.

If you want a mind-numbingly easy class, then this is the professor for you. Only one video project and one 5 page paper. Most days we would just sit and "work on our project" all class, aka sit on facebook. She's funny but I can't say I learned a single thing all semester.

This class was pretty easy I'm not going to lie. She is so kind and funny. We only had to do a video project and a 5 page essay. (Other classes had to do 10 pages if you are wondering.) We would have class off for a week at a time for conferences, which were not as intense as you may think. Definitely take!

Ward-shah is sooooo easy. This semester we had a 3 min video project (DUMB) got A- and a 5 page (double spaced) research paper (DUMBER). Got an A in the class overall. TAKE HER for engl110! You don't do much and if you go to her and seem interested you will get an A. Take with a friend... makes it funner!

TAKE HER IF YOU CAN!! 4 short essays, the research paper is 5 pages instead of 10 like everyone else. Short readings before every class with one question to answer each class. skim it, you'll do fine. Allowed to rewrite every essay to go up a third of a letter grade!! easy A

Super easy class. 4 short papers and a 5-7 page research paper. No final! Definitely read the stories/articles she assigns because you will be quizzed and expected to participate (participation is part of the grade). Attendance is mandatory, but you can miss 3 classes without penalty. She also plays lots of movies that are actually enjoyable.

Shes one of the nicest teachers ive had in college so far. Her grading policy is great, she lets you rewrite every paper you do. Her papers are never long and the class is pretty interesting and laid back. I'd recommend her to anyone! Just make sure you do the readings because there are quizzes almost everyday!

Honestly one of my favorite professors. Such a sweet woman. Go to class. Participate. She quizzes you on little short stories that are assigned from the previous class..theyre like one question quizzes. Easy few papers and group presentation but dont hand in a late paper and don't BS her. Made me not hate english. I recommend her, shes great.

Ward-Shah is incredibly nice. Her class is perfect for anyone who has a real life. College students are busy and she understands that. Her class is primarily discussion based and she does not kill you with impossible papers. The work is very doable, but if you do not try at all, don't expect to get anything out of her class.

I recommend staying clear of her. I got a B in her class for the following reasons: 1. Too thoughty. 2. Too complex 3. Assuming my audience was too intelligent. If you have an inkling that you might want to write a paper about anything interesting, don't take her. If you're the boring, non-creative type, she's perfect.
