Weird Professor! Why hasnt he retired by now? he says he will retire next semester, its been 3 semesters already! Stay Away from him! DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! Wrote his own textbook and teaches straight from it. Reading the text is like looking at a foreign language, its very hard to comprehend. He has a clause that you must average a 62.5% on exams to get anything above an F even though exams only account for 48% of the final grade. The exams are extreemly deceptive. Knowing the material is not enough.

Prof wrote the book, all lectures are from out of the book. Weekly quizes (repeatable w/ grace period) draw questions from same question pool as the exams. Learning the terminology can be difficult if you havent taken many psyc courses. This class can be fun, just study from the book a lot and missing one class can be missing a lot of information.

He's not a terribly good instructor, but if you read the book the quizzes and exams are really easy. Review every quiz prior to your exam because he means it when he says it's the same questions repeated on the exam!

Stay away from this teacher!!! His book, which he wrote himself, is extremely unclear just like his lectures! You have to fight your instincts not to fall asleep. And his tests are just as hard and even more confusing. It seems as if he is trying to confuse you on purpose.

He is the worst professor I have ever had and he is rude and commonly insults students intelligence. The content is very hard to grasp, the text which he wrote does not make much sense and his teaching style sucks. His tests are rediculously hard. I would suggest running far, far away!!!

His class was as boring as the book he teaches from (which he wrote). I dont understand if he understood the bull that he was feeding. We struggled for the entire semester on this one concept, another professor came in on the class before our final, we asked that professor to explain it and in 2 minutes, we understood!

Not nearly as bad as everyone made it out to be - got a B without really working that hard. Just read the chapters and take the practice quizzes to study. Definately do not need to read the chapters 2 and 3 times like the syllabus suggests.

Do not take a class with this man. The lectures are horribly dry and boring; I only went because of the TA. The title of the class should be "Memorize My Book That Has Nothing To Do With Learning". If you are not interested in rats' and pidgeons' eating habits take something else.

Don't take this teacher unless you have to...he places so much emphasis on minute details from the book (which he wrote) so you aren't really learning, just memorizing. He is however, very passionate about the class and obviously enjoys teaching the material, if not just to hear his own voice.
