Easy A if you work for it. Lecture is useless. spend your time studying for your weekly lab quiz.

Midterm and final were not very hard, got A's without studying much. However, I kept up with the lab which is every week and you have a test from the previous weeks material. Lab is worth 50% of grade and was very difficult. Kathy was an okay proff, talked too fast.

Had her for Exercise Phys and was initially nervous to take it but the course average was 88%! The tests were fair and based exclusively off the notes - I never read the text except for doing the pre-labs. The lab is so so easy; you just have to show up, which makes it totally stress-free. Very interesting course - don't be intimidated!

Dr. Gaul provides clear expectations for exams and is always prepared for class. She makes an effort to engage students by using clicker questions and asking lots of questions. Lots of exam hints, great final exam review. Definitely a class worth taking. Be prepared to spend a lot of additional time in the lab. Still worth it.

This class requires a lot of leg work but Gaul is a very competent lecturer. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and clear on what you will be tested on. Good course for anyone remotely interested in the human body. I learned a lot.

Expect to work hard. Dr Gaul does a good job of summarizing key points although sometimes she contradicts the textbook which makes studying confusing. However, you will have to do most of the learning by yourself. If you read and bring good questions to class then she can provide good answers

I found the material interesting in lab however she managed to drain all of it from class. As a 400 level professor she should let student know what is expected and be in class more than 60% of the time. I did well cause I studied no help from her and she made you feel stupid for clarifying a topic.

Admittedly, I attended very few lectures after the midterm. She posts her slides on WebCT, and they're pretty much a reiteration of what has been covered by the lab in detail. She recognizes that the lab tests the minutiae, so her tests are more conceptual and general. She knows the material and is a capable lecturer.

Lectures seemed to get better as the course went along when she stopped making us pointlessly 'discuss' things with our neighbours. She is helpful in office hours. GO to lecture, it helps you figure out what is important. The final was definitely more conceptual than I would have thought, but overall a fair tester. Interesting course.

Kind of approaches the class like we're a bunch of elementary students, but for the amount of material the course needs to cover, she does a decent job. I hated the labs and thought the course was too much work for a first year course, but had no problems with her teaching style.

OK, this class is tough. HUGE amounts of info covered and the majority you have to teach to yourself. Don't blame her if you didn't put in the time for an A. Hard class? YES! But still one of the best I've ever taken. It's well worth it if you're willing to put in the time.

She was a great prof. I don't know why everyone seems to have a problem with her. It was the most interesting class I've ever taken and it wasn't her fault about the midterm, she wasn't even there! If you did poorly in the class, don't take it out on her.

She is a totally useless prof. She does NOT teach anything, she just puts up diagrams from the textbook and tells the class to go look it up ourselves. WHY WHY WHY is she getting paid? By far the worst prof I have ever had.

Interesting lecturer, but exams/weekly quizzes are based around self-directed studying, not info from lectures/labs. Lecture notes are just directions for what to find out elsewhere. Lots of specific info in this course, and students teach themselves 95% of it. Be prepared to study madly and blindly

She is a huge tool, you think a teacher at university could figure out the class size and copy enough exams so that people can't tak ethe exam when they are ready. Furthermore, talks to us like we are children, get a grip we are in university

she puts profs in other departments to shame! i didn't think that she could top anatomy, but exercise phys kicked ass!! i love how "real world" course material was, and it always blew me away how much she knew/how much she made us realize we kne
