Brilliant Professor. All negative comments are most likely out of spite....... Prof Keyser has an absolute plethora of knowledge when it comes to Chinese Politics and CPS, as she has seen so much first hand. Shes loud & long winded, but that's bc she wants you to learn as much as you can. It means that much to her.

The class itself could've been very helpful with a different professor. The point of the class was to learn about writing in political science courses and all she did was assign things with little to no guidance. She's very unapproachable, mean, condescending, refused to give feedback. Try to avoid her completely if possible! Worst teacher at Drew!

Don't recommend taking her classes. She is unorganized and too tough with grading. She has no charisma. WORST CLASS EVER. WORST PROFESSOR AT DREW. I am a Politics major, her classes were big mistakes. Try to avoid her!!!!

Honestly I understand that things happen but if your not able to handle the heat then step out. She will give you the most uninteresting paper topics to write about that will not spark any interest in the major. I rather take a BIO class and sit through lab then ever take one of her classes again and that goes without saying that I'm a Psci Major.

Her organizational skills..not so great. Then again, if you know some of the things she's dealing with, you kind of forgive her. Still, missing over two class periods is annoying. But she cares about her students, and if you get on her good side by doing your work and coming to class, you will have earned yourself a powerful ally at the university.

In my experience she was a really bad professor, very disorganized, took very long on giving papers and exams back, and would give study guide like the day before midterms. Also I feel a lack of interest as she has been absent many times. I would not recommend this class, thoughI recon she does know a lot about China, she gets off track with CPS.

Awesome professor. She covers twice as much in her Comparative class than the other professors do and she's engaging and helpful. Also, she's really intelligent and has a lot of information to give. I took Russian Politics with her just because I enjoyed her teaching. Take comparative with Keyser.
