the teacher is a very nice person but didn`t care about what she was teaching. very flexible but not clear on her lectures. she needs to improve her lectures. veru fun class and she is a fun person. tests weren`t hard but didn`t learn much because the class was relaxing and not very clear

the class is really boring and the lectures were worthless since the test questions only could be found through the book. mystery fossils are easy and i recommend going to the bookstore and finding a bookwith the answers already in it! gives out extra credit and curves test. A- or B+ is a given

I took it as a lab requirement (which by the way was the best thing ever since there really weren't any labs) She gives you extra credit like crazy, sometimes even just for showing up. No attendance requirement!

Best way to pass this class: 1) don't even show up to class 2) and if you do, don't bring your text and notebook (make sure, however, you have your annoying cellphone ring and dim comments on-hand. 3) DO NOT!!! attempt to take class serious. Class was full of childish blabber mouths. I thought I was back in high school. Cate lets her students walk all over her. Gives way too much extra credit to perople who don't respect her. Group open book tests are a joke. If you don't get an A in her class a career at McDonald's may be perfect for you. An easy way to get your Science + lab

boring. helped to have the book but dont buy the mistery lab. she'll do them in class. i didnt enjoy the class. it just all seemed like a joke, wouldnt recommend her but its nice to have a lab class without a real lab.

Cate ROCKS...I didn't want to take this class, but learned SOOO much from her lectures and the mystery fossil lab assignments...the exams were cool cause we all got to discuss the material and look stuff up...we got A's and we loved her!

the most awesome teacher ever!! you will love her if you take her! very helpful and interesting. she loves what she teaches and it shows. cancels classes often and lets you leave early. one time she locked the door..it was quite funny! definitly take her!! one of my all time favorites!

This was one of my favorite classes ever. Material was fun to learn, thanks to the passion that Cate has for the material.....tests were open book, open note and GROUP tests. Not difficult to get an A unless you didn't ever go to class or read the book.

Ok teacher, tests are somewhat hard even with open books and the mystery fossils are a pain, i definitly recommend it for a natural science credit because its easy to pass. On a effort scale, 1 being lazy and 10 working your bu*tt off - 2 will give you a C, 8 will give you an A
