She is very strict, but everything you need is clearly outlined in the syllabus. I bought the textbook, but I never read it and I got an A on every exam. PAY ATTENTION during lectures and take good notes. Everything is easy as long as you show up and pay attention.

SO boring. Class required for nursing and I wish I could've taken it online. Test questions are worded so strangely.

Very hard to show up to class most of the time because the lectures are long and boring. Read her lecture reviews on D2l if you skip class and don't bother with buying the book it doesn't help.

The class is interesting but she is so boring. If you have to take it and like me, she was the only one teaching it do not take a one day a week night class. she is so boring. She takes a long time to get grades back and has a lot of stupid readings on D2L that aren't worth enough points.

If you really think this lady is hard and rude then my guess is that you show up to all your classes with the expectation that you will not have to do anything. I weep for your future employers. Raeff is a mild mannered and approachable woman who probably cries when she hits a bug with her car window. She certaintly isnt "rough" or "mean".

She can be sarcastic and kind of rude. I wish I could have taken this class online. She's so dry, and she thinks her class is above others. As if you do not have 5 other classes to attend too as well. The exams aren't bad if you pay attention, same with the papers. You do not need the textbook. TAKE ANYONE ELSE IF YOU CAN.

Dr. Raeff is a great developmental professor. She can be a little boring at times, but genuinely nice and wants students to succeed. Participate for your own benefit, and to get on her good side, she likes students who participate. Tests are fairly easy, papers not hard, easy grade boosters. Would recommend taking!

She grades extremely difficult and acts like her class should be the most important thing in your life. She says she will give extra credit for participation, but it is a lie unless you participate 10 times every single class. Never even opened the book. Some questions from the exam aren't in the notes. Class was way harder than it needed to be.

Took this class because it was required for my major. She will tear you apart on your papers if you don't do exactly what she wants. Takes off points for stuff she didn't tell you she wanted in the assignments. Her tests aren't horrible but throws in trick questions. Really loves individual, social, and cultural factors. Never lets you leave early.

This prof thinks her class has to be your #1 priority in life. She makes you write a bunch of papers and grades them harshly. Exams straight from lectures, so you'll do fine if you can stay awake in class. I actually think she is giving me Bs on things bc she doesn't like me. Avoid her if you can. Also don't buy the book bc you'll never open it.

This class was not worth the stress. Dont take her if you're a nursing major bc she wants you to make her class a priority when it's not. Very tough grader and isn't clear on what she specifiaclly wants. Outline is very vague and so is her point system so it's hard to calculate grade. Gets made when you use the restroom.

She's so boring to listen to and the class seems to go on forever. Get ready to have discussions on a daily basis. The tests are simple if you really pay attention in class and review your notes. Overall, class is pretty easy shes just really boring and hard to pay attention to.

She really is a nice woman. Her test aren't hard so long as you actually study the notes. Her papers were fairly straight forward, just pay attention to the guidelines. She wants you to pass the class and she wants to help you pass the class. She really stresses self advocacy and as long as you put yourself out there for help you will pass.

Probably the most boring class you'll sit through but it's so easy. Don't really have to go to class except for when there's in class assignments, in which she tells you when they'll be. Easy tests, only annoying thing is that she's a tough grader with the essays.

I took this course for PSYC 315 lab. The class is 3 tests and multiple papers. Papers are majority of grade. There are a lot of papers to be written that include outside classroom research and observations. She grades papers tough, but if you take the time you will do good. You will eat, sleep, and breath individual, social, and cultural!

Dr. Raeff is a very nice woman, but she will question every comment or answer you make and make you feel wrong. It was very annoying at first, but after awhile you get used to it. She is there for you if you need help and BEWARE she is a grammar freak with writing papers. Overall, the class was interesting. I would recommend for a psych lab.

This was a decent class. Dr. Raeff has a unique personality, and expects you to use her and your time wisely. Her lectures are very clear, and she emphasizes the main issue. As long as you do the readings and participate in class, you will do well. However, she is very picky about technology use, so never text during class & computer when necessary

Drags class out for as long as she can, grades ridiculously hard and for nit picky things like grammar, not content. Makes exam questions really tricky, aimed at tripping you up. She gives you the chance to revise a whole paper and only takes your grade on the paper up one point, such a waste of time. Don't take her if you don't have to.

Dr. Raeff is an alright professor. You can tell she means well and that she cares for her students, but she talks too fast some times. Her feedback on papers is hard to read. Exams are a lot harder than expected, even with study guides.
