She is very knowledgeable about human development because she had been through every stage of it, but I believe the generation gap between her and her students make it difficult to understand her, plus she speaks very softy. Take note of all the little things you might consider side notes, cause they WILL be on the test

Tests are extremely hard. Nothing to do with what she talks about in class. Remember dates and numbers. They will always be on the tests. She is 80 years old and is stuck teaching from her point of view.

Her tests were so hard!! I couldn't hear what she was saying 99 percent of the time, and what I did hear didn't make much sense. I wouldn't advise anyone to take her if they want an A. She is a very sweet woman, but not the best teacher.

Best thing to do, suck up, because her tests are from ten years ago at least, and she uses a very new book. She really is confusing and sometimes she is talking loud and then u cant hear her

Worst class so far. Many of her test questions cannot be found in book or notes. Who knows where they come from?? Not very clear. Makes many mistakes that confuse the class. I barely made a C.

Sweetest woman, good teacher. Class is a lot of work (weekly article summaries & journals), but not difficult. Tests are not hard. Just do the work, read over the material, and you should be fine. I'd take her again.

She is a wonderful teacher. She is so sweet and her tests are not hard at all if you study. Everything comes from lecture and the book. For everyone who says this class is hard, try taking Anatomy&Physiology and then you will see what hard is and you will appreciate Mrs. Mullins.

I completely agree with the last two comments. This is the 3rd time I've had Mrs. Mullins. Each time she has been nothing but nice and helpful in every way possible. I have a lot of respect for her and would take any class she taught.

I do not know what most of you are talking about. Sometimes it is hard to understand her or what she is saying, but she knows her stuff. Anyone who says the tests do not come from the book probably did not study enough. If you do not understand something ask her about it and she will help you.

The best advisor out of the four that they have assigned me to. Had her for class also, tests are hard not from the book or the notes. Ended up with an A not really sure how. She is nice and has accomplished a great deal in her life.

I do not recommend taking her. What she does in class is totally different and does not pertain to the test she gives. She would be a great elementary teacher. She is nice, but teaching skills are not wonderful.
