Prepare to learn absolutely nothing. You'll watch documentaries on Youtube or Netflix and he'll tell you his political views every day (which are occasionally radical). We talked a lot about gun violence, which did not pertain to the concept of "Multicultural America". Despite this I am glad he graded me nicely despite my strong disagreements w/him

I took Charles class nearly 10 years ago as an undergrad. I've long since graduated at another University, but Angeletti was by far the most profound professor I've ever had. His lessons had a strong impact, and positively changed my outlook in so many regards. Without doubt the most important and life changing character I've met. Do not miss.

Charles is one of the best professors that MSUD is luckily enough to have. His methodology is unique but authentic and based on reality. The college classroom is meant to be a place where we are opened to new ideas, challenged and tasked to think critically. Charles has been doing this for 50 years. I hope future students can experience his class.

Excellent. The class is unconventional and designed to make students think and analyze real world conflicts. Racism, classism, and homophobia are all discussed. I would highly recommend this class.

This class with Pr. Angeletti was one of the most educational classes I've ever taken. Everything that was discussed is used in our everyday lives. This is not your typical history class, you will learn much more than you think. Professor respects everyone's opinion even if it's different from his own. Attendance and participation-mandatory.

Quite simply one of the best professors I have had to date. He truly is one of those extraordinarily rare finds in the world of higher education. Angeletti has spent the last 50 years meticulously designing this course and I personally consider it an honor to have had the opportunity to be a part of it. Do yourself a favor and take his class!!

Wow, what a horrible experience. Talk about promoting mediocrity. It is tragic that some people look up to this guy. He rambles on about problems in America, suggesting that there is NO hope, and whether or not you agree with him WILL affect your grade. Believe it or not, it IS good to have a positive outlook when trying to promote change, sheesh!

Angeletti is a rare professor, his class relates to big issues going on in all student's lives, he uses these issues to talk about larger dilemmas in world and how to approach them. He has strong beliefs, but always encourages students to disagree because he values student perspective. The work is easy and open, and allows unique self-discovery.

A real kind professor. He is real and uncut. He supports his students and is there for you. Gives out his home phone number and always answers. students can call him anytime of day. Cares about education/ young people. He used to force us to ask him 3 questions at the end of class before we could leave. About anything at all. thought that was cool

Prof angelletti teaches the way he wants to and there is no rhyme or rhythm. He is the best in the game. Been teaching for 40 some years and knows exactly how to get to young people. The moral of his story is just know your stuff. Which I wish more teachers taught us. Its not all on them. We gotta step up and charles preaches that. he knows best

Any of his classes are a MUST!! He is phenomenal. Forcing young people like us (who more often than not have a hard time seeing multiple perspectives) to look at societal issues from other peoples point of view. He makes controversial topics able to grasp and hit home. He is wise and an amazing man to get to know.

Professor Angeletti is a rare breed of instructor. Bringing students the tools they need to understand the history of the many groups of people in this country is foremost in his goals. The second is encouraging free speech, open communication between those with opposing views, and a facilitation of a helping and communal classroom environment.

Charles is a man of his word. He is strong willed and won't back down on his point of view which is very valuable in this day and age. He is controversial in his teaching style and material but that is what makes him so sought after. Forces privileged kids to view the world differently than we have before (by being spoon fed the lies of america)

People like him because he hands out As and Bs just for showing up but the way he conducts his class is unbelievably awful. Perhaps in his younger years of teaching something valuable came from his lectures, but his 2015 multicultural course was nonsensical at best.

He is outstanding! The people who don't like him, don't get him. He's completely open-minded, just committed to his beliefs, without forcing them. He isn't your average history teacher nor is it your average history class. It makes you view America on every level from every perspective. There's a method to his "madness" and you NEED to take him.

This professor is the most arrogant flaming liberal and anti American teacher I've ever had. The class is all discussion and beat down of America and everything that is wrong with it. I left every class nascious and depressed. Other than that it's a cake walk class.

His lectures are downright miserable. Some of the guest speakers are even worse. Participation is mandatory. It is not an easy course if you take these things into consideration.
