Comment:

His PSY 170 class is *fantastic* for Summer-1: three weeks and an easy A. He's a little boring, and teaches to the test more than he should, but not so much that you don't learn anything. In the spring/fall semesters he'll end class early a *lot*, which can be a plus. He could be better, but as it is he's a competent prof. He's very helpful, too.

Berthold is very intelligent, but I seriously doubt that he has much of a passion for teaching. The class is very easy, and everything is regurgitated off of Power Point. Nice, outgoing guy, but not one of the best. Absolutely do not buy the book. If you show up and take notes, you will at least get a B. I would certainly recomend him.

Another professor who reads off the PowerPoint the textbook authors send him. Fairly knowledgeable, but getting information is like pulling teeth. Not an enjoyable experience, but an easy A.

Dr. Berthold is incredibly boring and he reads off of a powerpoint. However, the class is basically stupid-proof. If you show up, take notes and look at them you will easily get a B. Written assignments were incredibly easy, I onlt spent 10 minutes on each of them and got full dredit. He lets you use your notes on most quizzes, but not on tests.

Very good Prof. Easy credit and test, quizzes and homework are a breeze. As for all of this stuff about the notes I didn't have a hard time with them and boo hoo welcome to college. Very helpful and willing to spend however much time as needed for students.

This was the worst psy class, not the material but the professor! Only 1 night a week class, you only stay about 45 minutes, tests are terrible, very hard, scribble outline on board, no lecture because he lets us out 2.5 hours early! He hates questions, it makes him have to stay longer in class than he wants! He is sooo burned out!

very bland. maybe because the class is at 8 am. his notes are weird. he puts the main idea but he doesnt really explain what we need to know. i wish he could actually make real notes where the student could just copy and study from those. otherwise, hes nice as long as you're on his good side.
