Absolutely terrible, constantly makes mistakes, very bland, cant explain material well, always spends the entire class work one fairly simple problem and rarely helps. You mostly have to teach yourself

If you already have a decent background in math you will be fine. I took calculus senior year of high school and then took college algebra my first semester freshman year and it was a breeze. You cannot be lazy with the homework though or your grade will suffer. He makes a few mistakes when teaching, but will fix if you correct him.

He's helpful outside of class, but during class, he's taking the book and literally writing it on the board. I sometimes feel like you can just take notes during class and self study. It bothers me and others that whenever he writes on the board you have to wait for him to get out of the way in order to see. More words than numbers during class

He is extremely helpful, he never minds helping even outside of class. Also, usually pretty happy which is nice. Makes a lot of nerdy math jokes - overall pretty cool

This professor doesn't know what he's talking about. One time, he takes thirty minutes to solve one simple problem and when he gets an answer he doesn't expound upon how he derives it. He complicates simple processes that would take a shorter amount of time if it was done in a different way.

Great person, not a very good teacher. He doesn't really know how to come down to the student's level but is great about helping with any questions you may have. His tests are hard if you don't understand the material.
