Worst teacher I've ever had. He's rude and expects you to understand what he's saying, and you can't. His test are hard and with each test there's a paper and a map due. After grades were submitted, I had to get him to correct mine from a C to a B because he forgot to input my final test grade.

All those other comments are crazy. This was a really hard class. I only passed one of the tests and the papers, you are researching and comparing things you know nothing at all about.. if you dont know anything about history, don't take this teacher. he's cool but.. he's a smart people teacher.

He is an easy teacher. The tests are completely off of the study guide. It is just the class is so freaking boring. If you come everyday you get a grade boost. Like a D is a C. A B is an A. Just come to class.

he talks like your grandfather telling you war stories about his youth, but his class isnt hard. 5 tests, 5 essays and 5 maps. tests are easy, most of it is on the study guide. KNOW HOW TO FORMAT your ESSAYS MLA Style. he takes off points if format is wrong, but overall.. this class is awesome! SERIOUS STUDENTS would be amazed. slackers beware.

Pro. Douglass is the best teacher that I had. If you pay attention to his leactures and take notes then you are on your way of getting A. He gives you five tests no finals and decently grades these tests and papers. Trick, know how to format, does not read the papers, just looks to see if it is formatted correctly;applies to tst lect quest aswell.

Professor Douglas is a very nice man and a great teacher. I really wasn't interested in history but he made it interesting. Yes, his tests are hard, but he gives the the answers, study and you'll pass. The papers and maps are very easy, put a little effort and you will make "A's"..I am taking him again for AMH2070. history WAS my favorite subject, but he has now made me completely uninterested. terrible teaching style & has the lousiest test setup i have ever seen. you can barely understand anything he says. NO clarity whatsoever. you will be bored out of your mind! the WORST class i have ever taken. DO NOT take!!

My aunt took a class from him 30 years ago and warned me about his teaching style - I should have listened to her! He is dull, unorganized, and you can tell what he had for lunch by looking at the front of his shirt. Plus, his tests make no sense and you have to fight for your grade.

If your looking to get an easy A, it's not going to happen. 5 maps, 5 tests and 5 study guides, how easy is that & he gives you the answers! He does talk fast, so learn how to take notes right. He is also easy to talk to if you don't understand the topic. I recommend him to serious students and if you don't want to put in effort look else where.

Prof. Douglass is a kind old man, and likes teaching history. However, i found it hard to get even a B on any of the papers. I dont think he reads them, only looks for the MLA style, whixh, i had no clue what it was. if you dont have a lot of time to do the study guide, do it in class while he talks, and you'll be finished in no time ;)

I wouldn't recomend this class to a working student. If you have a lot of time to dedicate to school and want to learn, then this is the class for you. He is a nice man, but he is a little boring at times. You have 5 tests, 5 short papers, and 5 maps, and that's it. The work is easy but time consuming.

Extremely easy class if you do the map, essay, and study the study guide (which he gives you the answers to). It's sometimes hard to stay awake in his class, but he knows what he is talking about and his lectures are good. He's also very nice. Some people may mistake his jokes as him being mean, but he's not at all. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed his class, sorta boring but just show up for class everyday beause he ups a whole letter grade, if needed. You don't have to pay attention during his lectures just make sure you study his study guide. all his tests come exactly from the study guide which if you wait to the last minute he gives you all the answers. Easy A!

he gives nothing but lectures. you have 5 tests whole time. do you essays and maps, study for your tests and show up for class. talk to him if you have any questions or problems.VERY easy class...if you don't need your teacher to hold your hand the whole time. basically you have to actually do the work and research your self,imagine that!

This is the best history professory I've had. He's such a kind man, that he makes it hard for you to fail. All you need do is come to class and do the assignments. Then, an A is almost impossible to get. Would definately recommend him.

Lectures are informative if you can keep up with his mile a minute talking. He DOES NOT slow down very oftern in order to take notes. His lectures DO NOT follow the book at all. He is also very grumpy. I do NOT recommend him at all.
