Dr. Edwards is a great professor and an all around nice guy. His class was very easy, but I still learned a lot. I didn't read the texts, but still received an A in the class (and, he didn't make me take the final exam). Taking clear, concise notes is the key to doing well in his classes.

This is an extremely boring class. He just lectures the whole time and you basically have to teach yourself in order to do good. There is tons of quizzes, there's a project done in steps, so stupid, and there is a few exams. I don't recommend this class unless you're willing to teach yourself anthropology.

nice guy, but he is a master of talking for hours about anything not related to class-we didnt have ANY grades until after midterm, and he assigned three (3) essays on the last day of class, no joke. last day as in we wont be seeing him again since there is no final. other than that nice guy though. but honestly will try to avoid classes with him

The man is smart. So smart that yes he can drive people mad with his occasional divulgence into other languages lol, but if you pay attention he knows EXACTLY what he's talking about. His monkey walks are hilarious and I thought it made class fun. Hard to do that with 100+ students. He tries hard and some don't appreciate it. Tough on grades.

AVOID THIS CLASS AT ALL COSTS. The classes teach you nothing because he always goes off on tangents and starts talking in an African language. The lectures have nothing to do with the test and you pretty much have to teach yourself from the textbook.

Makes it way too much work for a 100 level class Very arrogant and condescending when u talk to him. All he talks about are monkeys, but I thought the course would be more than that. I payed attention, read and spent very long nights studying and I still feel like I learned nothing. Dont reccommend this class for a non major. Lecture is very boring

This class requires a lot of you. However, if you read the book and do the coloring exercxises, you will get an A in the class. The tests are pretty much based on the book! Only a few things are actually taken from discussion. I don't know what people are scared of this class; this is all part of college.

The class is so boring....all i do is draw in class because he teaches the same thing over and over again. What he teaches in class is at least 2 weeks ahead of the syllabus and most of the student are lost in his class. He tries to help us understand but it so isnt working!!

The ideal teacher, mixed lecture with visual and even added in some comic relief. Perfectly clear on what he expected of students and completely fair when it came to grading. I definitely recommend this class and prof.
