The first week it will seem like all he is doing is goofing off but after this he will be actually teaching the class. he is funny and caring. If you placed in English ten obviously it will be hard. Just do the practice questions in the book.

Charlie is the BEST teacher at Palomar. He is the kindest, nicest, funniest professor there. Always more than willing to help. Very insightful, not a class goes by that you don't learn AND laugh! Can resubmit papers for better grades. Only 3 papers and 1 research paper.

AMAZING professor! very passionate about what he teaches. IF YOU ASK FOR HELP, HE WILL HELP. if still don't understand do not hesitate on asking him, he WILL NOT MAKE YOU FEEL any less. Took him for summer 2013, and he was hilarious and a great teacher. you won't regret his class. he can be very inspirational.

Can be long winded and get off topic but super funny. he tells stories and banters with himself during class. Overall teacher was funny and class was pretty easy, The MLA was the only difficult part in the final paper but there is enough info out there to help get you through it. bottom line if u fail this class, it is your own fault.

It is like this class was a blessing from the Gods. Charlie is amazing. He goes out of his way to help you in any way possible, and encourages class participation. I had no interest in this class prior to taking it, and I am truly glad I did. Must take this class!

Charles is the best teacher I've ever had! He goes out of his way to help you in any way he can. There were 4-5 papers to write(including a 5 pg research paper). Assignments were not necessarily hard, but rather fun. If you enjoy writing and expressing yourself, this is the 100 class for you. Wish he taught Eng 202!!
