Comment:

Took him in a Prep for Prep course and he is amazing!! Keeps the class entertained and is very clear, when you ask questions. Gives essays as exams and is helpful with the information. He does talk a lot but he's still an amazing teacher. Would take his class again 10/10!!

Comment:

He's a great professor. He makes class fun. Yes he is a tough grader, but I respect his work ethic. He lets you know what he wants once the first essay comes along. Just follow his IDE chart and you'll be fine. Don't blabber in your essays, give him details and evidence! I would definitely take him again.

Professor Kacynski is a tough grader. The only good thing is he gives take home essays as an exam. His lectures aren't very entertaining and when you ask him a question he replys with a question. He can be confusing. Overall not bad but not great.

He Is my high school freshman teacher and I hate it! I go to York prep, it's ok but his class is the worst. He's boring, very hard, and does grades hard. I'm a straight A student but am just passing his class with a B-. I highly recommend NOT being in his class.

He is passionate about the history of immigration! He's a nice guy, but he's not easy. The key to impressing him: Share his opinions...he's not interested in students' unique thoughts and ideas on the subject. Be prepared to READ...he loves class discussions on the readings.

Really great professor He always makes sure that everyone understands the points he is trying to get across before moving on to the next subject, u have to be able to write well in order to get a good grade, he doesn't just want u to reword his lectures he wants u to show an understanding of the material he will proofread work before its due!

Extremely boring. Knows the subject however, talks so much that one tends to tune him out or go to sleep. His lectures do not help you for the essays he assigns. The only fun you'll have in his class would be the videos, but of course, his views on it are totally different than how the students perceive it. I got a B+ in his class & im an A studen
