Professor Kapp was a very impressive professor based on his credentials. His class is very dry and long if you take him for senior comp. The tests, he expects you to not do very well and puts a curve on every single one. The presentation isn't too bad if you are paired with a partner. Attendance was recommended but not mandatory.

Very dry lectures, can get very boring quickly. Looks for participation but not required for a grade. 4 tests total including final, the final isn't cumulative. One 10-12 page paper assigned at the beginning of the semester & due at the end. Attendance isn't required but encouraged. Lectures are long and tests are all from the book. Easy class.

Dr. Kapp is an impressive professor simply because he clearly knows knows what he's talking about. Most interesting parts of class are when he talks about clinical experience. Test questions are almost all from the textbook which is a little tough. All lecture, which can get a little monotonous but overall a good guy and would recommend

There is nothing wrong with Dr. Kapp. That's the basic summary of his class. His tests are about 85% from the book, so he can ramble sometimes in lecture, but it's valuable real world experience stuff. He curves. He didn't blow me out of the water in any way, but he's a good professor.

He was always present in class. Attendance is factored in the grade. His tests were not too difficult if you read over the book. His lectures were sometimes long and hard to follow. He is a very nice person and funny in a dry humor way. He enjoys the interactions of the students in the class during lecture.

Great professor. Very professional and polite, and also funny and interesting. A little bit monotonous but if you pay attention the time should fly by. Brings a lot of real world experience/anecdotes into the classroom. Highly recommended.

Dr. Kapp is a great guy. He has great stories to tell that apply to abnormal psych. Make sure you study for the tests from the book because that's where the questions come from. There is a 10 page research paper but he's really cool about it. Great class.

Love Dr. Kapp...it is clear that he wants you to learn about psychology, not find new and creative ways to make your life miserable. He is the one prof. I've had in all four years that truly works in the field and has experience unlike a lot of these other losers who know practically nothing about what their teaching except how to make a hard test

With his dry humor and classic good looks, it's a crime that he's also a nice guy who knows what he's talking about. He teaches with real-life experiences, reads drafts, talks after class and still manages to teach the material without overloading the student with worthless homework and difficult tests. Enjoy!

Really nice guy and EXTREMELY easy. Tests are multiple choice and straight from the book. I only showed up for class on exam days and didn't read the chapters till the night before and I still easily pulled off an A.

Dr. Kapp is a very intelligent man. It's kind of rough at times having a 2 1/2 hour night class with him though. He can be dry at times, kind of hard to want to go to class. But his tests are straightforward and the paper isn't too bad.
