Dr. Montgomery was probably my least favorite professor at UF. His class was very difficult. He was very vague, especially when it came to assignments, and then he grades them super hard like it was your fault he didn't explain things. Did I mention how arrogant he is? Talk about being full of yourself...

Had for Environmental Crisis and Sustainability. One of the best professors I've had. Extremely engaging, interested in what he's talking about, chose very good reading materials for course. Required attendance, discussion, reading. Not the easiest class in the world, but extremely fair if you put the effort into it. Kinda hot for age :P

Environmental Crisis and Sustainability was the highlight of my first semester at college. A lot of reading and writing were required, but the topics were so interesting it hardly felt like work. Montgomery's lectures were incredibly well-organized and invariably interesting, and class discussion was always engaging. Absolutely EXCELLENT prof.

Montgomery is an interesting character. He will work you to the bone but force you to learn a arse-load in the process. He is a bit vague about the papers and an extremely harsh grader but in the end, you will learn alot from him and he actually his, despite his ostensibly mean & bitter persona, a really nice guy!

I took liberalism history with him and this has been my favorite class ever. He is the smartest man i've ever met. His class is slightly difficult. It'll be my first B but its just so amazing. I love the class and he is a great and superb lecturer. He has high expectations for everyone and is a tough grader on his essays. But well worth the class

Dr. Montgomery really knows his material, and is very clear and qualified. If you pay attention in class, and actually read you should do very well. Test are hard to BS, so study. Very willing to help outside of class too.

He made me actually enjoy history( a little!), and I retained the info i learned, which says a lot. A very good lecturer; keeps your attention and stays on track.
