I graduated in 2001. Till this day I find him one of the most profound professors that I have had. He is challenging and motivational. Truly cares about your success. If I could I would take another one of his classes today!

One of the best professors I have ever had. Will challenge your opinions until you cry, but makes you even stronger. I have always learned a lot from taking his classes. Make sure to ALWAYS attend class, do the readings, participate, and ask questions..especially if you are unsure about anything. I am proud of the work that I have done in his class

Extremely smart. Makes students work for grades and questions their logic by using the socratic method. If you do not want to have a challenging class you should avoid him. It is a worthwhile experience. He will teach you to back up your beliefs with facts not just feelings. Best Professor I have ever had.

You have to work to succeed in his class. This means reading the texts, participating in class and researching early. Also, he tends to manipulate the formal rules of logic to counter student arguments. He uses student arguments against them and it becomes frustrating.
