I think he was just ready to retire. He just did not care if we got it or not. Many of my classmates are in the Physics "re-do" with me. Well I hope we learn something we can retain this time instead of just trying to get a grade, some of us need to grasp this for further education.

Chemistry professor teaching non-calculus based physics=disaster. This class is horrible unless you have a lot of time to dedicate to teaching it to yourself. Lab lasts about 15 minutes and he never gives instructions for the lab notebook. by the end of the year I was so fed up with physics. hated it. great guy though. very funny.

Homework is an effort grade, which is definitely good. Each test question is worth a lot of points, so if you screw up on one your grade goes down by a lot. Sometimes it's hard to figure out what he's talking about, but if you do the hw & study you'll be fine.

This class was physical science for non-majors, and it's definitely worth taking for your 2nd science/math. He gives you the questions and lets you prepare notes. Plus, if you catch him at breakfast, he'll simplify it even more. Plus he doesn't keep you very long.
