Dr. Parker is a great, caring professor. I took the hybrid course so all of the work was online. My class only met 5 times the whole semester. If you work hard in Aleks, and get the work done on time, you will come out with an A.

I took the hybrid course. Though you only meet Dr. Parker once a week, her lectures aren't very helpful. There are discrepancies with her methods and ALEKS', which is confusing. She isn't often available to help because she also teaches High School. A nice lady, and clearly knowledgeable, but not very good at explaining concepts understandably.

Don't buy the book - you won't use it. She relies heavily on ALEKS to teach you so don't be surprised when she puts something on the test that hasn't been in lecture. Plays favorites and is not very willing to help you during office hours. DO. NOT. TAKE. THIS. CLASS.

Chasta is very nice and helpful. Showing up to class is important for your grade and to pass the class. She is very clear and will go over any material you don't understand. She is extremely helpful and all the homework is online. We have no tests, but the two online assessments count towards your grade. Highly recommend this class

If you had her for CHEM 104 she was great. Class was easy and she was able to get away with minimal explanations on the information. For CHEM 106, she was still very vague and her power points were hard to fallow if she wasn't there to explain them. Her tests are hard and she sometimes fails to give partial credit on lengthy math problems.

Don't take her for Chem 106. This class is the beginning to biochem, which is her field of specialty. She knows SO MUCH about it, which is great, but she kind of assumes everyone is on the same page as her even though everyone in the room has never seen the material before. She doesn't explain things well because of this.

Nice lady, awful teacher. Uninteresting class and super hard tests. Also, we had to pay to use Sapling Learning for our homework. $30 and it was too easy to actually help. This class was an overall bad experience.

She was an excellent teacher! She made us write a lot in the lab, but when it all ended, I became a better chemistry report writer. She was willing to accept early drafts if they were done. So take her for biochem if you can!

Well, we freshman all have to take this class, but if you have to take it, take Mrs. Parker. Her papers aren't hard and you only have to do 4 and only 2 presentations. She is an easy teacher and very nice and definitely not one of those freaky teachers that care WAY to much about a pointless class
