She was very helpful during her office hours. She grades pretty fairly, and allows students to do a couple drafts without a grade before turning in the final class. She definitly helped me improve my writing. She gave me my first college A!

Has lots of energy, willingness to help- writes a bunch on essays. when you write an essay, it goes through three drafts - first corrected by students, second by her (with a false grade to see where you stand), then the final paper is due.

Yeah, she's a bit tough, but a really good teacher. Teaches first year English, so I think a lot of the other people on this thing haven't had much real college experience. Her class seems unorganized, but is actually a very well-designed class in which

she's FABULOUS...okay not really but she loves that word. She doesn't really teach very well and she likes to make sure the class never has an interesting discussion...but after the first paper she grades super easy..though her final is ultra hard.
