Ms. Foote does not work with students, she is demeaning when she talks to adults, she shakes her head and laughs at adults, she has been quoted to say, 'you wonder why our country is in the turmoil it is in' referring to her students, and she doesn;t grade fairly or allow you to see your grades on a consistent basis.

She is a great teacher who knows her stuff! And inturn expects her students to know it as well. If you go to class take good notes and study you will be fine. I have had her two times first for nm hist I got a B and then US hist and I got an A. Put forth some dffort and you will be fine.

Good lectures, but you need good notes as her tests are detailed. The MC questions are easy to miss even if you know the answer, she grades the essays/papers with ruthless red inking all over.

I think that this was a very good class. I don't believe for a second that she was ****. I'm hispanic, and I never got that vibe! People just don't like to work for their grades. She is very clear about what's expected, and she gives you the information that you need. My knowledge of American history improved a lot after this class.

She is one of the worst teachers I have ever had. Everything written about her is true-extremely rude and nasty becuase she does not respect or like her students. She was very disrespectful to students of color-letting them know she was right about race experience and they knew little. This woman should not be teaching,

She isn't the most enthusiastic. She is fair, you do have to put in a good amount of work. Basicly work in = grade out. Be prepaired for essays on test + multiple choice and paragraph answers will also be on test in US history 1. There are also book quizes. You will have to read at least 3 books if your in the same class I was.

Mean very, very mean spirited and is also very snotty. Does not want to discuss or answer questions and is very boring-talks way to fast. School is not a popularity conest but it is ok to be polite to your students!!!!!

SHE IS THE WOREST TEACHER EVER! Everything said about her is true. She tried to keep all the African-American and Hispanic students on one side of the class. Almost nothing she teaches coincides with what is in the book. She is more focused on the enviroment then teaching History. IF YOU CAN AVOID IT DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS EVER!

Speaks to fast to take detailed notes which are needed. Looks down on everyone and doesn't care if students succeed. As long as you read 3 chapters ahead and read the whole text books with detailed notes and have a photographic memory then you'll be fine. Other then that I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TEACHER!

If you don't mind working you'll do fine. I thought she had an easy manner, she DOES press on; but will stop to discuss anything that the students find relevant.

Teaches history, but puts her own political view of current administraition in demeaning context. Comes to class 2 to 3 minutes late, and keeps class late all every session. Lectures from beggining to end, with extremely fast not taking required

took for 161 and 162. She is VERY tough grader but she knows her stuff. I enjoyed her classes, I did tape her lectures--which helped with the tests, the outlines she gives directly match the lectures so pay attention to her handouts. I highly recommend her, just listen to her lectures and it will work out.
