She cares greatly about her students life and grades. Its obvious she knows what shes talking about. Her test are kinda hard and the study guides are extremely long. However, she will work with you and prepare you for exams if you go to her office hours. Great professor, would reccomend!

Her personality is great for the long lectures that she has! Very passionate about what she teaches. Her study guides are very intimidating and you have to study all of the information to get a good grade. She has one paper that isn't as tough as it seems, just keep up with it. Also 2 service learning projects of 5 hrs each.

She is super passionate about teaching and extremely enthusiastic about the material. Her energetic spirit really makes the class enjoyable as well as educational. She is there for you when you need it. she will meet with you to discuss any issues that you need help with or just to chat.

Comment:

Fortner-Wood is the best. She is really interested in this field that it makes you interested in it also! Lectures are awesome. Her test are not as hard as the study guide make it out to be. She can be intimidating, but she is a very awesome teacher. You have one research reflection project that is not TOO hard, but it dos require work.

Dr FW is an amazing prof. So ncredibly knowledgeable on the subjects=very interesting class. Tests are a little tough but it is all material covered just study well. A few SLR's and 1 research project, if you do the work an overall pleasure of a class. She is also very accomidating, wants you to do well. Wish I could take more of her classes :D

Dr.F-W is amazing she is a great teacher and wonderful to talk to during office hours. She's a bit odd but you'll find most psych majors and teachers are are too. Her tests are easy if you study she gives hints about the essay questions and sends study guides that are a world of help. Take her if you can :)

Dr. F-W is very nice and helpful if you're willing to ask. The topics are interesting, but be sure to read your text book and study hard for her tests. Take notes (you can print the slide shows she posts online prior to class to take notes on, too). There is a research paper! Start early, so you don't have to stress out. Take her a draft!

She's by far one of my favorite teachers. She really knows her stuff and it's 'fascinating' as she says. If you study and talk to her if you don't understand something, you'll do just fine. I still remember what I learned in her class years later.

Dr. F-W was awesome! I loved her personality, even though her teaching style was less organized than what I'm used to. She had some of her tests online, which I didn't particularly like. She's a busy woman, but is dedicated to her students & always willing to help. The claws can & have come out before. Also one of my more attractive professors ;)

Wonderful professor, extremely helpful, and even in a double section class, she was still able to get names. Fair grader, and the class seems to get easier as you go. I absolutely loved her, and will take her again. Plus, she's rather attractive.

She is a horribly intimidating woman with the strongest most biased opinions I have ever experienced with a prof.I believe that I deserved a better grade than a b-,but we never recieved our final exam grades!She snaps at students once in a while,and completely plays the favoritism game.Also be prepared to get carpal tunnel,she speaks way too fast!

Dr. Wood is a nice woman, but kinda odd. She jumps around on topics as if she has too much to say and doesn't know how to start. The class was only 50 minutes but I never looked forward to going. Make sure you read the book and take notes if you want a good test grade. I didn't enjoy this class.

Dr. Fortner-Wood is great teacher! She is nice, fun, and energetic. She is extremely helpful. She doesn't give out tests. She gives out a quiz every other week. The quizzes are easy if you study your notes and read the book. There is a huge research paper that counts a great deal of your final grade.

She is such a great teacher! She is so sweet and always has examples which help me learn so much better. We didnt have any tests, but her quizzes weren't too bad. Cool thing? Some quizzes were group quizzes!! I reccomend her for psychology for sure!

She is a wonderfull teacher and great advisor but her tests are very hard. If you study EVERY part of the notes you should do fine but don't underestimate her tests.
