I cannot find the words to describe her. I would take every single of my classes with her if I could. She's easily the best professor I had at Tufts.

Professor Tano is by far the best professor I have had at Tufts. She cares about her students and takes the time to make sure every student feels comfortable before moving on. Nothing but good things to say about her.

When Mrs. Tano subbed in for Mrs. Oppenheim it was day and night. Mrs. Oppenheim was a teacher trying to push us through the material at light speed whereas Mrs. Tano was a caring teacher who made sure that we understood the material before moving on.

Comment:

Prof Tano is an amazing professor, always there for her students; if she can she will help them. Although I don't think she is a native Spanish speaker, she speaks as one. She is interesting and engaging, and if you do your work and put some effort in the class, you will most likely get an A in the class. Definitely recommended!

Comment:

Señora Tano is the BEST! She has a great sense of humor and is such an amazing teacher. She does a lot of speaking activities in class, which is very different from high school Spanish courses. She's good at breaking down concepts that English speakers aren't familiar with, and she makes connections to French too! I love her class!

Comment:

Tano is amazing! She knows her students well and is great at getting students to learn spanish. Format of the class was textbook exercises read aloud, as well as vocab and grammar review from the textbook. Tano and this format make learning spanish pretty easy and enjoyable. She cares so much and is very understanding about late assignments, etc.

Tano is the best!! She is so enthusiastic about her subject, and loves her students. Someone asked her in class once what her dream job was, and she said "I have my dream job." Her dream job is teaching, and it shows!! Get her at all costs, she's amazing. Btw, it's worth coming to class just to see what shoes she's wearing; different every day :)

tano is a terrific professor. the class is overall very easy. tano's greatest strength is her ability to understand that her students arent very good at spanish, and act accordingly by never getting annoyed. she knows how to laugh and have a good time in class. her assignments are very do-able and easy. take spanish with her if you can!
