I was at Kwantlen in '88-89 and I took every class Prof. Shih taught, he was fascinating and knew way more than you could get out of a text book. He also expected you to try and to care and to think for yourself - if you did that he respected you. This was my first experience with post-secondary learning and I couldn't have asked for better.

THis dude rocks! Ok, he talks slowly and he's hard to understand. He goes off on tangents all the time and never really focus' on the real material. But, he's funny as all hell and is super old. He also tells you the exact, short answer questions which will be on the final AND he tells you the answers.

definitely the most knowledgeable teacher I've ever had, you can't understand a word, but he knows his stuff, just look interested in class and he'll give you a break on marking. you learn stuff from his stories that you don't learn in a text!!

80+ retired seassional teacher. u will NOT understand ANY thing in his lecture. u CAN NOT ask him any question. but yah, he WILL NOT FAIL ANYONE in his class either. u work a lil hard and u'll EASILY GET A "B".

lectures r completely useless. doesn't give notes AT ALL. doesn't tell u what's going to be on the exam until 2 days before. doesn't mark assignments on time. we had an essay due and he doesn't give back the essay outlines until AFTER the essays due.
