He's probably a nice guy outside the classroom but he is terrible teacher! He gets frustrated with students when they can't understand his messy, unclear examples and avoids actually explaining anything at all costs. The book doesn't really explain much either, it's more like a list of formulas. Do lots of practice problems!

A lot of what is written here is true. He is quiet, so sit in the front. The tests are challenging. I recommend working a lot of problems before the test so you can compute quickly. And this is college, folks. Suck it up.

H CAN teach but material in no way prepares you for tests. He is really vindictive too. Example: My buddy left class early and for evermore, H was legit foaming at mouth to figure it out (it was SUPER weird). My ONLY regretable time here. He even says he doesn't care. Material is not well presented, and he speaks softly with a thick accent. 50 minutes for tests - each question usually has 4-6 components that require 3-5 mins. each, so time is scarce. Class test averages are continually low(70% or lower), and he makes rude comments about class performance. Does not seem interested in helping students succeed.

takes a course that should be simple and complicates it beyond belief. notes are useless seeing as everything is jumbled and unorganized. book makes things even more complicated. if you can actually figure out the concepts of the class, its really easy material, but good luck getting that far. it's a shame hes the only one to teach it

All I see are bad comments about Prof. Hanumara. I thought he was good when I had as a professor. I just thought he made his exams too long. He always had to give us extra time. The final exam was challenging. I was exhausted and my back was killing me walking down the hill. People, you are in university and not elementary school. Give him a break!

I have never gotten the grades I got in his class (bad)before.And all because you are left to try to understand the material on your own, with the book. He does not explain well, his handwriting and handouts are confusing, he speaks too low and says 'you see' after everything. I dont doubt he knows his stuff, but he JUST DOESNT KNOW HOW TO TEACH.

Absolute worst professor at URI. If you ask questions in class he wont answer them and tells you he wont go over it. No help at office hours either. He cant comprehend why the class average on the exams was so low, maybe it was due to his lecture style. AVOID HIM at all costs.

I did my own little statistical survey: in 50 minutes the guy said "You See" about 150 times per class. His exams are horrible and it is hard to understand him. He will not help you pass and he barely gives out partial credit. Yes, you can use a formula sheet but generally it doesn't help you.

You see? You see?... No, I don't see. His teaching is completely unsound and follows no logical progression, not to mention that he is rude and arrogant on top of being inadequate. Just a bad situation- The material itself is dry and boring, the teacher has an EXTREMELY thick accent, and tests are VERY long. The final too over three hours for 90% of the class. He's also very unapproachable, rude, and can't help you anyway because he can't understand simple questions...
