As long as you study the material you will do great. You can easily get an A as long as you're committed to study. He lectures but they are interesting to listen to. I feel I learned a lot.

hes a sweetheart, really enthusiastic about the material - and the class is pretty easy if you attend the lectures and pay attention. 3 tests + 1 cumulative final are the only grades.

Very interesting class. No assignments, group projects, quizzes, or participation grades. The only thing you're graded on in this class is based on 4 tests. He suggests you purchase a book for reference but it is not necessary at all. If you basically go to class, you will pass.

Dr. Fulton was an awesome lecturer, and he is extremely knowledgeable. He is very friendly and direct about his expectations. His tests are few and difficult, but if you take advantage of the lectures, readings, and study sessions, you should do fine.

A very kind, funny, and smart individual. Very knowledgeable about the subject. He can be forgetful at times (might need to email him more than once) but makes up for it. Is laid back but does require attendance. I fully intend to take more of his classes.

Very nice guy. Doesn't take attendance or give tests, just had 3 papers to write and he gave a lot of chances for bonus points. He's a very considerate grader and while he knows a LOT about what he's talking about, he's open to hearing theories and ideas of students.

could not stand him...only required papers but not graded fair..spend a lot of time on papers and he would underline direct quotes i found and basically say it was not true IT WAS A DIRECT QUOTE. took long time to get papers back and forever to respond when you emailed him. will not take him again

DR. Fulton really knows what he is talking about when it comes to Mexican art and architecture. We sat around a conference table, and his style was really laid back. You totally don't have to come at all, but there is no textbook. We wrote 3 papers. Pretty Easy. I had no clue about Mexican art history, but the class was really fun. Higly Recommend!

I took every class he taught while I was at UofL because he is soooo awesome! Not only is he kinda cute (notice the lovely eyes) but also very smart and enthusiastic about art and his work. Re really inspired me- I added ARTH to my studies after taking his class... In short, TAKE HIM.
