Mr. James is a great instructor! His lectures are interesting and fun, and he makes sure everyone has a crystal clear understanding of the topic. His labs make practical use of the information in his lectures and he takes as much time as necessary you to fully absorb the concepts presented. Really hope I can get him for some additional classes.

Totally decent professor. Uses the book. Especially the bold words. So remember those for quizzes. Completely reasonable email turn around and the assignments weren't crazy difficult, but you learn. Would have loved a more integrated, logical use of Blackboard for the class. Espec the discussion board.

Took online. Great teacher. You do a lot of book work, but he is there to help with any problems or questions you have. If you have prior operating system experience this class is a breeze. Most instructions are clear and easy to follow. Test pull straight from the book, so make sure to read the chapters.

Mr. James is a fantastic teacher. Linux is not the easiest thing for me and he was very patient and helpful. We stick with the book and you can mostly do the class on line but you can attend class if you need the help. Great teacher!!!

Chris James is just an awesome instructor. He's crystal clear in his instruction, knowledgeable well beyond the course material, stern when he needs to be (Wake Tech has its share of slackers), and yet very humane. I miss his classes.

I hate online classes but this teacher is the best! I had him for ITN 130 and learned a lot! Always willing to help. He tests you on the material and expects you to know it. Go figure? Really cute too.
