Dr. Kacir is undoubtedly the best professor that I've ever had. He is an expert in his field, and I left ever class feeling like I knew so much more than when I had walked in. He is a tough grader, but it's because he wants you to learn and rise to your personal aptitude. If you don't want to work just don't take him.

Great Prof! My first class with him and I learned so much! Don't go in expecting to not work and get an easy grade. You will work your butt off in this class but you will enjoy it! Very funny and keeps class involved during lectures. It may be hard but you will learn a lot and be glad that you were challenged. Definitely recommend him!!

Nevermind the bad ratings below..probably just people who expected an easy A. When I messed up a paper really badly, he was more than helpful to me and helped me allowed me to correct the errors. He demands a lot, but if you are going to grad school, you should expect that!

First time I've ever taken him, didn't know what to think beforehand but once classes started I really liked him! You definitely have to put in effort and earn your grades, but I'd recommend him. He's very smart, his lectures flow well, and he's funny. Not an easy grade but his classes are worthwhile!

He really cares about his subject. He's an incredibly passionate teacher and as such his lectures are very interesting. He is also really helpful if you have questions about the assignments or anything. Typically, he lectures on a subject and then he leads a class discussion. I think he's quite fabulous.

very cold professor. has no relationship with the students. Does not use the book, very formal and never say anything about him as an example to relate to the lecture. the questions on his tests are riduculus hard. No point in doing that. He is tryint to hard to be respected and his doing in the wrong way.dont take him

Mr.Kacir is a very smart professor. He never uses the books but leaves it up to you to read the material. He teaches off powerpoints and gives you a print out of them. His test are generally over 3-4 chapters without any study guide. He is very interesting and keeps the class exciting.It can be a difficult class if you dont keep up

Dr Kacir is an excellent instructor. I have had him now for 3 or 4 classes and he is very intelligent and NOT cocky. Some of his classes are fast paced and his expectations are high. I would prefer to take a class of his and learn something and get a C as opposed to taking a gravy class, learning nothing and get an A. Keep it up DR Kacir!

Dr. Kacir is a fabulous professor. He is not cocky. He is intelligent and confident - there is a huge difference. It's not often that you will find a professor this passionate about his subject area, so take him and enjoy the experience. You may have to work hard, but hard work pays off.
