Dr. Kim was an AMAZING professor! His class was pretty difficult, but showing up to office hours, asking for help the moment you don't understand something, and doing the weekly homework/readings will help boost your grade. Dr. Kim is HILARIOUS, patient, and will answer any questions you have (there are no dumb questions).

Amazing lectures. He is the best professor I have EVER had in my whole entire college career. I am retaking this class and I actually don't regret it because I feel like i actually know my stuff now. He is very approachable. Tries to make things easier to understand and simple because he knows chemistry is already hard. BEST PROF EVER.

TL;DR: If you want to learn and be prepared for higher education, then Dr. Kim is the professor for you. I took Dr. Kim's courses 5+ years ago and am so glad that I did. Dr. Kim helped me establish a solid foundation that I was able to build on during my undergrad + grad education and provided continuous guidance even after I graduated from Delta.

I enjoyed Dr. Kim's class. He's a really cool teacher. He always had funny stories from his college days. However this has been the most difficult class I have taken at Delta. I had to work really hard just to get a passing grade. Quizzes and reading assignments are online. He sometimes offers extra credit on tests. ACS Final which wasn't too hard

Dr. Kim is a nice guy, very respectful to students. A bit hard but then again what Chemistry teacher isn't? Laid back attitude and tries to get on students level but in the end the majority of the class will fail or get a low grade because of his exam difficulty. Very approachable and always willing to help. Sometimes he confuses students more.

Goes above and beyond for students. When in doubt ASK QUESTIONS! He provides worksheets online but it's up to YOU to do them. Takes the time to go through examples IF YOU APPROACH. I cannot stress enough on your participation. Lectures are very helpful and interactive. Tests are tough, but if you went to O.H then your more then capable.

If you love Chem and like a challenge, then take Kim. But if you HAVE to take Chem and it is not your best or favorite subject you are better off with Gamarnik or Ricardez! He is an amazing lecturer and his labs are OK, but his TESTS cover a lot of content! Make sure to always be studying, do the ONLINE HW. He is difficult but doable! Ask for help

He clearly knows what he's teaching and we joke around saying he's a genius. He's willing to help out any time and anywhere via email or in the lab. He speaks and explains the material in an understandable way, you can't really get lost unless you weren't paying attention. Attendance is key if you want to pass.

People love taking this guy but he is like any other professor. He is younger than the typical "old" science professor so people tend to relate to him more. His tests are hard and his lectures are average. He will help if you ask but he seems intimidating and seems to skirt around questions because he wants you to do it yourself even if it's yes/no

This guy knows his material but he is condescending. He's more helpful during OH but usually is clear during lecture unless "stupid" questions are brought up and the subject ends up deviating. The tests are tough but it's up to you as a student to learn because he is tricky and acts like everyone in the class should already know this stuff.

Extremely helpful! Office hours, an SI, quick to emails, Dr. Kim goes beyond the normal duty of a chemistry professor. The tests are tough and gives frequent quizzes but I enjoyed every second of this class. This class is the difficult, but he provides plenty of help. The homework is mostly online, one assignment a week along with a weekly lab.

He's super knowledgeable and teaches the material very clearly. Honestly, you just have to listen to him, understand the material to the tee and you'll be fine. He's pretty genuine. He's there because he loves chem and wants other to love it as well. If you put in the effort, you should pass with at least a B.

Lectures were good, labs were fun, but I personally felt that he never quite prepared us for the exams (questions were weirdly worded 12 the time). You need to be on the ball at the start of the semesterclass - if you fall behind, the best you can hope for's a C. 1B students: ask how you can improve on lab reports. It's a must, bc he's unclear.

He really is a great teacher but he has a different method than most, he wants you to really work and understand. USE THE BOOK! you'll regret it if you dont!. Don't be afraid to ask for help, sometimes he will purposely not give you answer or smirk. He is not an easy teacher but i appreciated the way he graded. He is lenient and again READ THE BOOK

Professor Kim was okay, his tests were tough, but they are do-able if you study almost every little detail every day in the book! When it comes to teaching, he was great at it, but there are times where you are just confuse. I recommend you guys to take him if you guys really love to major in chemistry. Best of luck :)
